80th Texas Archeological Society Annual Meeting - October 23-25, 2009

The Texas Archeological Society’s 80th Annual Meeting will be held on October 23-25, 2009 for the first time in Del Rio, Texas. 

The meeting begins on Friday with professional and agency meetings and a free Public Forum in the evening.  The Public Forum will highlight rock art and feature Dr. Jean Clottes, editor of INORA an international journal on rock art, and Dr. Carolyn Boyd, SHUMLA executive director and author of Rock Art of the Lower Pecos.  Papers and posters will be presented on Saturday followed by a banquet and speaker.
